A full office IT relocation managed end to end and completed within business hours, with staff back up and running and zero disruption on day one.
The Australia Day Council of South Australia was relocating its office. Like most office moves, the risk wasn't the boxes and furniture. It was the technology. Network equipment, internet connectivity, access points, workstations, and printers all needed to arrive at the new site in working order, with staff able to pick up where they left off on day one.
The Council needed a partner who could manage the full technical side of the move without creating a drawn-out disruption to a small, busy team.
InterIntra handled the IT side of the move end to end. Before the move date, we completed an on-premise audit of the new building to understand the physical environment, identify any gaps, and configure four wireless access points in advance so the network was ready to receive equipment on arrival.
On move day, we relocated the full IT network rack from the existing office to the new site within business hours, handling physical installation of management rails, port patching, and cable management in the rack. The new internet service was configured and tested on-site, access points were brought online, and workstations were reconnected and confirmed working. The printer was set up and network access was tested across the environment before we signed off.
We stayed available the following day to field any issues that came up as staff settled in.
The Australia Day Council completed their office move with no meaningful IT disruption. Staff arrived at the new site to a working network, working internet, and working devices. The Council's team didn't need to troubleshoot anything. They just got on with their work.
