Pirate Life Brewing

A complete MSP transition for one of South Australia's most recognisable craft breweries, decommissioning legacy systems, migrating to the cloud, relocating offices, implementing security frameworks, and rolling out a modern cloud phone solution, all with minimal disruption to the business.

The Challenge

Pirate Life Brewing had outgrown their legacy MSP relationship. Aging systems, fragmented tooling, and a provider who couldn't keep pace with their growth created a business that was too dependent on IT that wasn't working hard enough for them.

Bringing a new provider on board mid-stride, while the business was actively operating across its Port Adelaide brewery and multiple venues, meant the transition had to be meticulously planned. There was no room for disruption to operations, staff, or customer-facing systems.

The Solution

InterIntra managed the full transition as Pirate Life's new MSP. We mapped the existing environment in detail before touching anything, then systematically decommissioned the legacy infrastructure while standing up a modern, cloud-first replacement.

Data and workloads were migrated to cloud platforms, giving the team secure access from anywhere across the business. The office relocation was coordinated end-to-end, from network and endpoints through to comms, so staff moved into a fully operational environment from day one. Security frameworks were implemented to protect the business and its data as it scaled, and a cloud-based 3CX phone solution replaced the legacy PBX with something the team could actually manage.

The Outcome

The transition was completed with minimal disruption to the business. Pirate Life now operates on a modern, secure, cloud-based environment, and InterIntra continues to provide ongoing managed IT and strategic advisory services.
