Decommissioning legacy AWS infrastructure and migrating a not-for-profit housing provider to a modern Microsoft 365 and SharePoint environment.
Your Place Housing's infrastructure had served them well since 2015, but it was showing its age. Legacy on-site servers housing email and data needed to be decommissioned, and the organisation wanted to step away from its Amazon Web Services environment in favour of something easier to manage and more cost-effective for a not-for-profit.
InterIntra designed the migration from AWS to SharePoint Online, then deployed the full Microsoft 365 suite across the organisation using not-for-profit Microsoft licensing discounts to keep the ongoing cost sustainable.
Every staff machine was reset and connected to Entra ID, enabling single sign-on, mobile device management, and modern security governance across the workforce. Once the new environment was proven in production, the AWS servers were decommissioned.
Your Place Housing now runs on a unified, governed Microsoft 365 environment with significant monthly savings from the retired AWS spend.
