DISP membership has two halves: the advisory, policy and submission work, and the technical security controls underneath it. We partner with De Stefano & Co, who lead the advisory and compliance side, while we implement and maintain the ICT controls, Essential Eight hardening, access management, logging and monitoring, and evidence collection. Defence suppliers get both halves from one coordinated engagement, rather than juggling two vendors.
The Defence Industry Security Program (DISP) is the framework Defence uses to assure the security of the businesses it works with, across governance, personnel, physical and ICT security. If you supply to Defence or to a prime contractor, membership is increasingly expected, and often a condition of the work.
